2009: a pace oddity (part 2)

You will almost certainly have no recollection of "2009: a pace oddity (part 1)". This probably relates to it never having been posted. In November last year I wrote up most of the entry in word on a computer which was not connected to the internet. It was a really clever piece (well, it seemed it at the time) about how the coming year (this year) was going to be really different and complicated. Getting a job, only part time studying and thinking a lot more about the future. I had, that night, watched 2001: a space odyssey, which somehow related I think.

Anyway, just incidentally, I would like to say that I told you so, it looks like I was right. Although, I guess I didn't.
